Seemed to have excessive evaporation on boil ? _ may have been because the lid was 90% on. Could also be the extra 15 min boil, normally a 60 min boil.
This batch has low BHE but contributing to this is the start water volume was incorrect, the target fermenter volume was also higher. Target was 19 litres not 20.
The whirlpool caused excessive trub mixing in to wort which had an effect on amount of wort into the fermenter. |
