In 2003 I was introduced to brewing by a friend. Those first extract brews were good a experience in starting the craft of brewing. Since then I have progressed to brewing All-Grain, grow some of the hops that I use, and enter in local and national brewing competitions.
Brewing is very much like wine making in that you are always learning new recipes, honing old techniques and learning new ones. Trying out experimental brews and brewing seasonal favorites. In the past few years bourbon barrel aging has been strong player in the beers that I like drink, so of course I have been experimenting to see what works in the home brewers setting.
If you have any question please leave them on the book of Faces or here in this forum and I will be happy to answer any that you may have.
