sorry to derail the thread a little, but what the heck are hop rockets? are they kind of like randalls? you shoot beer through a little hops-filled tube?

just when i think i have a handle on most of the terms and techniques, there's something new thrown into the mix

confused about that too, but i might understand the concept just from the picture.

is that a bilchman model? theirs seems pretty versatile.

But, from what i read, a randall is pretty much the same as a hop rocket, it just depends on where you're taking the beer / wort from and where it is going. i've been known to be way off though
