It was more mainstream, but I actually really liked the Genesis album in 83. Just because I was young and to this day can still blow up speakers with Home by the Sea and Second Home by the Sea plus Mama, Silver Rainbow, and Its Gonna Get Better. If you like Genesis, Marillion in the 80s with Fish were absolutely incredible. They had kind of a similar sound.
Saw a cover band play the album, with the original stage setup from when Genesis was touring for it. Was OutStanding.

Yes, BRAND new, like this week. His daughter has a nice voice too.
Yup 1, about every 8 or 10 years. I liked some of the stuff on Rattle that Lock which came out around 2016 or so.
The first two solo albums are still my favorites, but the first one is what? 46 years old now.

Been listening to a little Cheap Trick tonight. They are coming to Ashland Ky, about 45 minutes away in December. Tickets purchased. Last seen them in 1999 at Cincinnatis Labor Day river fest. The acoustics in the Paramount Theatre are awesome.
Fantasy League was a project by Scott Kerr (Five Iron Frenzy, Yellow Second) and Matt Langston (Eleventyseven (yeah I don't expect anyone to know these bands)) that released a self-titled album in 2022. It's all synth-pop but with a very 80s feel. If you like synths it might be worth checking out

Really digging some very old Rainbow tonight
Whatever the local classic rock station was playing yesterday while I was building panels for a modular chicken run. Didn’t take the girls long to outgrow their pen. Scary part is they’re only about half grown at 10 weeks. They’re getting BIG and want their space. All the chicken experts say 4 square feet per chicken is enough for the run, but even 8 square feet doesn’t seem to be enough for my chickens. I want something I can take down and relocate a bit easier than the post and wire construction I started with. If the girls don’t have enough room, they start getting aggressive and injuring each other when they peck. Much rather hear classic rock music than pissed off chicken squawking.
