Had this one a few times, single bottles from liquor barn. Amazing beer

Good balance this. Interesting flavor. Might have to have two for a better review.
For now, it’s perfect after an afternoon of playing lumberjack and milling a couple 6x6 posts from trees that came down on my property. Something tells me I’m gonna regret not stopping a lot sooner than I did.

The brown, now a bit mellower with that extra bitterness gone. Came in a little low at 4.0%, but that's fine by me.

I’m starting to realize that browns are some of my favorites. Especially low bitterness and malty flavor. It could become a problem if I kept too much tasty brown around. At least I recognize my weaknesses.

Last time I had that it was in a bottle and it was a skunky mess. Just terrible. I guess I’ll have to give it another go in cans.

I went for a Bass next. Probably the first time I’ve had this beer in ages. My immediate thought was…this is Boddington’s as a lager, without the nitro widget to give it all that creaminess. Fruity taste and aroma are so similar, just a different mouthfeel. Bizarre.
I can't find Bass locally. Wish I could.

I meant Harp, not Bass. UK, 4 letters and all…I found it in a Guinness “Irish Ale“ mixed 15 pack.
5 each of Guinness Stout, Smithwicks and Harp. Don’t know if that’s distributed nationaly though.
Version 4 of my attempt at the perfect house pale ale. Don't know if it's "dam" good yet but it's getting close!

When Kim got her car a few years ago we looked at and drove one of those.
It seems nice so far. Plenty zippy for the size, awd, fancy cruise control that drives the car for me. Better gas milage than my 14 year old Escape too
My copy of McMenamin's Ruby ale; 1-1/8 lbs. of fresh raspberries in the secondary. According to my friend who's favorite beer is Ruby, it's exactly the same.
