have never tried that. not a fan of oysters, but would try it. does it taste of shellfish?
It doesn't! At least, it's not supposed to. The oysters supply some salts, and maybe some brininess to the beer, but it should never seem fishy. Here's the thread about my oyster stout recipe journey

Yes it’s a month early but Maysville, KY is having their annual Oktoberfest this weekend. We are meeting the buddy I sometimes brew with I about and hour. Last time I went it was a great time. They had Spaten beers last time. I’ll post some pictures today depending on level of intoxication.

I'm so jealous! I won't get an Oktoberfest in until Sept. 17th... At my dad's house - Shuttz will be on tap! Most likely my most recent brew - a Munich Dunkel - close enough to an Oktoberfest I suppose. He didn't give much a heads up on the date... lol.
