First day of REAL school today. Got a huge cup of death wish cold brew

How was it?

Good beer, easy drinking with a little spice bite.
I’m pretty sure this is the same as a “Provincial Ale” that Trader Joe’s sells.

You inspired me when you posted the grain bill. I scaled that, then made Herm’s 3 C’s IPA. I sampled a bottle on Saturday night, and it was tasty,, though it had only been conditioned for a week. My wife, who is not a big fan of IPA loved it. Looking forward to more of that when we return from Bend next week, when it should be properly conditioned.

Not a local beer here in Bend, but very highly recommended by my brother in law. Truly, a great beer with hop aroma evident from 3 feet away.

Nope. I wore shorts and a t-shirt all day while out about town. Quite a beautiful day in autumn. We even sat on the shaded northern outside section, adjacent to the bar.
Later on, we took a sunset walk, wearing PANTS and a down vest - slight overkill. We walked over 10 miles today.
There is talk of a possible change in the weather by the weekend, when we’ll be heading home.
