What are you drinking right now?

In the proper glass

American Stout

Roasty up front and dry at the end, begging for another sip. That Stout is a “heavy” beer is such a huge myth to me. I suppose some are (Pastry, Imperial...) but a good Dry Stout...heck, I could drink that all day.

I'm drinking my own damn beer, in my own damn house, and it tastes so damn good :) we were some of the lucky few allowed to return home today after being evacuated Sunday night. I also can't wait to sleep in my own damn bed!!

Slugging a can of this for lunch.
It's a nice easy subtly tropical hop blond I'd assume cant see the colour.
I rate this blokes brews he started a micro brewery here on the coast prob 5 years back before the rest come on the scene still beats a lot of them for a simple session beer hands down

Thank you. If you’ll allow me, I have to say it is very good. Though, I make so many Stouts and Porters that by now, I should have an idea of what works and what doesn’t. I have found less is definitely more as far as the dark malts. The roast still comes through regardless, but it is far more drinkable with an easy hand.

With all these awesome local craft beers that are pictured on this thread, it gets pretty depressing to think that there is no way to ever get your hands on them. I think Brewer’s Friend should start a “Brewer’s Friend Craft Beer Exchange”. We all send each other a local craft beer and BF gets a kick-back for putting us all in touch. I’m sure this break numerous United Nations rules, but with all the world’s problems, who will really care?

I think this would be a solution for world peace

I can see problems with this approach. All of these craft breweries would have to ramp up their production to meet demand. In order to expand production facilities, they would need capital. InBev, Miller/Coors, Guinness, etc would rush to “help” the little guys.
Pretty soon there will be only two brands of beer in the world, theirs and ours.
And our beer is the better beer because we really don’t use anything that we can’t pronounce!
SPELLING may be a problem, but not pronunciation!
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
