What are you drinking right now?

PBR and a shot or 2. Went to pull a pint of my Cherrywood Stout and got about 6oz. before it kicked. Out of home brew until late in the week when I get the Harpoon IPA kegged and carbed. Looks like a double brew day coming up about Thurs. or Fri.
“Double brew day” those are tough. My Amber is about to kick. Kegging an IPA Monday and brewing a Session IPA Tuesday. The things we do to keep the missus happy

I like that glass!
Great glasses for a little pull on the Keg. Holds about 6oz.
I inherited them from my grandmother who used to love a splash every now and again. If pressed about how many she had, she would always say, "Oh they're just short beers!" Kept her active well into her 90's so maybe they'll work for me as well.

Sounds like my mom. For as long as I remember, she was never too far away from her jelly glass of wine, about a 4 ouncer. She was probably mid 70s when she switched to a water glass for her wine. When questioned about the bigger glass she said that the doctor told her the a couple glasses of wine was good. Fortunately for mom, the old doc didn't specify what size glass. We buried her on her 91st birthday, so the size didn't appear to harm her :)

Doctors...ya gotta love 'em; these are the same guys that thought that "leaching" was cutting edge science and get bent out of shape when references to the "art of medicine" are made but in this case Bob, I think they got it right with your mom! We should all be that healthy!

Hop Blonde all grain kit from Morebeer. I think it turned out very nice. Perfect for pounding a few.

A pint of my Harpoon IPA and a shot of Evan Williams. Just 2 days in the keg for the Harpoon, but needed a hop fix. Stay tuned, more to come:) Been hacking away at the 30 foot Fruitless mulberry out front. I usually cut it back to next to nothing every Winter, but didn't last year, making this year a project. Went through 2 batteries with the chain saw trimmer and declared cocktail hour. Glad the wife doesn't know I have a 3rd battery :)

Bob, is that the beer you reduced the mash ph on? I remember you were going to about 5.35 to see how it tastes.

It's the second one at 5.35. The first was a Pale Ale. Both new recipes, so really have nothing to compare them to. The Pale was a really nice beer, but this one still has enough suspended yeast that it's a bit tart yet. Got 2 more in line before putting together another set of 5 where I'll make sure at least a couple ae tried and true recipes. Won't be doing a side by side. but my process is consistent enough that I should be able to taste any difference.

That is a good session beer and how I got one of my free tap handles. Waiting for them to run that special again, Needing a 3rd handle.
Haha. That's exactly why I have Hop Blonde! The tap handles are great. They're painted with chalkboard paint so they fit perfectly with my keezer.

Still drinking Manky Red, could probably tap either the latest Dirty Bohemian or the triple decocted Almost Bohemian...trying to be patient and give them the full 3 months of lagering time.

I've gotta say, I've tried several MoreBeer kits when they've had sales and never been disappointed. I'll jump on one of their 50% off on kits just as fast as I would the free tap handle with any kit.
BTW, you just inspired me to have another Evan ;)

Looks tempting. You gonna share the recipe. I put together one that'll be my next brew. Wondering how the 2 compare. Might pirate yours if it looks better than mine.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours :D:eek::rolleyes:

Will do later. Made a couple minor changes. Been pulling the pils out of some recipes to get back to 60 min boils. I will provide the revised version.
