What are you drinking right now?

I'll throw out a few ideas for a another group recipe.
A nice amber ale or maybe something along the lines of 90 schilling (Odell's). Perhaps a Scottish type ale, but amped up malty, and hoppy, thinking Dirty Bastard or Red Rocket.
I think a Cali common has been mentioned also.

I'll vote for an Altbier, semi-Sticke style.

I’ll throw this out as I’ve been looking for a good recipe to add hot peppers to.

A scottish or esb and i would be in . Didn't do a Nat as was needing to catch up with a Narwhal clone which was a win.

Did a comparison with a narwhal and my copycat.Mine was smoother with more creamy mouthfeel. Lighter colored head but thicker. My hops didn't stand above the malt as much and mine was short on alcohol. If I would have added some dme to bring up alcohol would have been closer. Happy with what I have though. A very tasty stout with a good flavor. Will take notes and brew again.

Guest beer tonight, one I've never had. Mahrs Brau, a Helles from Bamberg, Germany. Unlike Munich Helles, this beer is hazy and more bitter than malty. Helles simply means light-colored or bright in German so I'd place this in the Kellerbier category.

Did a crawl round Bamberg with the wife a few years ago. Lovely town and so many breweries and pubs to visit. Mahrs was one of the better ones. The Franconian beers felt like less rigid and more flavour oriented versions of the southern Bavarian beers.

Just a primer while doing Thanksgiving prep work. The Sargent Major has put me on KP.

Apologies to celery lovers, I like crispy bacon as a garnish. Never, ever goes to waste.
