Trialbens Keezer Build.

That is a drain?

I'll run brew cleaner through keezer and down this line from time to time to keep it clean.
What does it drain to? I'm thinking a cotton ball run through with compressed air once a year - same as what I do for the air conditioner drain - would keep things in check too.

That's my storm water down pipe yeah I know not into the sewer system Better than onto my patio floor.

It's not like I'm pouring hundreds of liters of chemicals down there just some beer spillage and some sodium perc every now n again to keep things clean...

Only thing that would drive me insane personally, i see that it is hard plumbed. So if you bump it and don't notice, it is all on the floor.

No it's not hard plumbed.
That bit is fixed on the wall and the other bit under the keezer frame is fixed there so I can move it in and out.
See that pipe on the wall is 25mm the one under keezer is what 15mm so fits into the other.
It was all on the floor previously. :D
Bloody beaut if you ask me;)

She's gotta get a kettle to brew with and well learn to walk before she runs but hey that's what this awesome forum is for Right!

Cheers Again!

At least your bar is going to a good home!

Kinda sad to see it go, i am sure. Lots of work went into it, but at least the work will go to good use.

That’s both sad and beautiful at the same time. And looking forward to hearing from Mell. But if she’s learning anything from you then she’ll be teaching us in no time.

Hope all is well with you, Ben.

That must have been hard to part with Ben. Great to hear that it's going to a good home. I'm glad some pieces I built but recently sold went to brewers to get used. Best of luck and good health to you.

don't worry I made sure to mention you to her.
and told her about your Primitive Cider and how easy it is to make.
just tip it all into the fermenter add some clean fermenting yeast and let it go!

@WesBrew yes it was like giving away a loved one maybe almost on par with loosing a Child :D I've had alot of inebriated conversations with that Bar lol!
@Megary yes mate All is really Well with me man.

I've actually just recently received notification that our residents hombrewer @RoadRoach will be dropping in to visit later on in July which will be cool.

Glad to hear things are going well for you Ben!
I just saw that Roach is getting closer to you, at least he posted a pic with beers in New Zealand ;)

Ben, of course we'll treat Mell the way we welcome everyone here, so no worries there mate. And she has the legendary bar on her side... If she spends enough time here maybe I can make her a set of (narrower) tap handles too.

Those handles served their purpose @GF Brews If you ever need more - Ben's 'Bucha, Ben's Beach House, whatever - you know where you'll find me.

Glad to hear you are doing well Ben! Difficult as it was to sell the bar, it's probably best not having it there as a temptation. We are all proud of you Ben!

mate the day I made the decision to stop hombrewing I tipped out any remaining beer and gave it away to my Workmate.

I knew if there's beer on tap I'll never succeed lol!

nothing quite beats that feeling of pulling a beer on tap at your own home that you've brewed yourself!

What are you up to now @GFHomebrew ?
'cause I'm sure you will be up to something.
My guess would be glutenfree baking?
At least you don't have to malt the grains :)

just spending as much of my time With My Wife and Matilda mostly out of the house and down the beach where possible in the salt water, sand and Sun!

I've been Enjoying the Chill of the Ocean here in winter and Jumping in to pool for a cold swim and having cold showers on a Whim Hoff Kick you know that Mad Bastard From The Netherlands AKA the Ice Man lol!
it's Great a real Rush and is good for you...

The Garden has become my main Priority at home.

I'm seriously thinkiny of taking up Spear Fishing after meeting this young fella at the beach the other day told me he's been doing it for years and you don't need a fancy Spear Gun or much equipment to get started. I love snorkelling and now it'll have that added extra of hopefully catching some fresh fish for dinner!

Sounds like you are having fun !
I used to spearfish, but gave it up when I moved to the area I am at now. I just saw too many crocs....
