The Flying Dog Brewery of Frederick has been sold to the FX Matt Brewing Co. and will cease production of its beer in Maryland this summer.

That would be Lower Slower Delaware, I am very close to Lewes
I saw the sale article. Too bad they never had a good production facility, they contracted out most of their production.
Their startup story is very interesting.
They are ardent proponents of free speech and the owner won a few lawsuits against some states for their label designs. Their labels are all pretty cool

Oh yeah, good people drink good beer!

I did a your of their brewery couple years ago and was quite impressed with their dedication to Quality Control as well a free speech. They had a regular speaking program built around their first amendment stance on Sundays in the tap room.

I like the German lager. Not the best, but it crisp and clean

You know Kangaroo meat is super lean 98% fat free so that some protine right there with no strings attached.

TO be honest only eaten Roo a couple of times its hard to cook right you gotta sear it pretty quick on the grill and eat it pretty raw I've found for it to be soft enough and not too chewy.
 
From today's news feed...pretty cool and very close to home...literally..the head waters of the Monocacy River, pronounced Ma-nox-ee, is less than a mile from my front door and I pass one these breweries, Milkhouse, is on the way into work. Almost stopped in there today but had to run an errand in nearby Frederick.
