I have some Ocean Trout with a Honey Sriracha rub, some wings with a homemade sauce to toss in, and irish sausage with potatoes and veggies

Wish they had more choices for fish, bit bummed, but Peach is tasty enough!

The beer is my recipe Frankenstein! Couldn't be happier with it!

Just pulled a 4.5 lb. slab of brisket pastrami off the Traeger and put it into the fridge to dry out overnight. Can't wait for a sammich on rye with American cheese, yellow mustard and some Kosher Dill slices.

Yeah @BOB357 you're killing me here! I need to pull a small brisket I've got in the freezer to try my hand at this. I have several of your recipes downloaded. I'll have to check if one is for your pastrami.
 
Sliced the pastrami this morning, so decided to mix some solid food with my normal liquid lunch. Wife did some onion rolls, so put some pastrami, cheddar and mustard on one, broiled it and had some Kosher dill om the side.

Finally got around to making venison/pork (70/30) summer sausage. Turned out quite well. It's a lot of work to make a 25lb batch but worth it. :)

Looks good. Will be keeping an eye out for a good deal on pork butts. My sausage supply is running low. I 'll be making brats and breakfast sausage. Need to talk the wife into doing her andouille too. Maybe throw in a batch of Louisiana hot links for good measure.

I'm hoping I can get up to my friend's ranch before too long and see if I can scare up a pig or two. When it comes right down to it, it's probably not cheaper to hunt than buy meat, but wild pork is mighty good in a sausage - especially for boudin. :D
 
I miss hunting and the meat. Wild pig is my favorite. Have a prosthetic reverse shoulder implant and can't shoulder a rifle or shotgun, so my hunting days are over.

Could you hunt with a medium recoil handgun? I use a Contender in both carbine length and 14" scoped handgun configuration in various chamberings. Cartridges based on 223 for the Contender are mild in recoil and capable of taking game at up to 200 yards with the right set up.

I'd need to learn to shoot left handed because of accompanying nerve damage. I can hit a full size pick up at about 15 yards with my Glock model 22 right handed :) All I'd likely accomplish is pissing a tusker off and getting gored.

If you can manage to shoot a Glock, you could handle the recoil from a 24-45 Sharps or a 7mm TCU in a set up like this. From a steady rest, you could probably hit a quarter at a hundred yards.

Possibly with a stable rest, but then I'd need to traipse my old fat a$$ all over creation. Appreciate the suggestions, but I'm content to live on memories of some great hunts and kills in the past.
BTW, nice setup there!

Craigerrrs barbecued Buffalo wings. I poached the sauce recipe off the interwebs some years ago. Grilling the wings is a long laborious process, but so worth the effort. Five pounds fed 4 of us tonight.
