Oops, I screwed up my unit conversion by a factor of 10.
Too far removed from my days as a scientist. Or I drank too many beers last night. At least I still remember 2.54 cm equals an inch, so 25.4 cm is 254 mm is 10 inches.

Two views of Morro Rock, from totally different perspectives, two days apart. This part of the Central Coast is often shrouded in fog, cold and windy. We have enjoyed spectacular weather here this week. Tomorrow my wife works in town again, then we head home at the end of her work day.

Yes they are. You cannot always reach them because you have to cross a bit of Lake Superior ice to reach that area. But there are a lot of frozen waterfalls too.

I love cats! Yesterday, on the last day of our Central Coast trip, I was walking on a pier in Morro Bay waiting for my wife to complete her work day. As I looked at this commercial fishing boat tied up to the pier, this friendly kitty jumped from the boat and claimed me as a friend.

This was Lakefront Brewery, a Milwaukee craft brewer. I don't know how widespread their distribution is but, for this one it didn't matter. Wish I had been quicker!
