Just carbonated a new batch of this same beer.
This batch is far far better then the first, it is really really good.
Changed up the amount of phosphoric acid i was using, increased the mash temp, changed the hops a little(simplified them), and used Apex San Diego Ale(Chico).
My efficiency is still crap on this beer, and my attenuation was pretty low(72%) but that is actually not a bad thing with a stout IMO.
The next time that I brew this recipe, i will likely toss a pound or 2 of lactose in there.
Target OG: 15.3 @ 80% eff
OG: 14.9
FG: 4.1
ABV: 6.1%
Its cold crashed and carbonated. I will probably keg it off tomorrow or Friday!
