That's not what I've heard

I have the hardest water you can imagine. Have to replace faucets every 5 years. They just crust up inside from all the minerals. Starsan instantly turns the water white. Has always worked. Ph is always under 2

I clean with OxyClean give it a good rinse then Starsan. This has worked for me from the beginning.

That's not what I've heard

It will. StarSan in moderately hard water will go cloudy in a few days or weeks. I mix mine with RO water and it lasts until there is so much gunge and dead fruit flies in it I can't stand to use it any longer, then mix up a new batch.
