Bit late to the discussion on fist look at that pic it looked like my saucepan after cooking some meat with the fat solidified on top Cool!

I think it looks freakishly cool whatever it is lol!

I add Sodium Metabisulphate and Ascorbic Acid to most my beers at packaging these days I don't find any negative effects accept sometimes it may give off a little sulpur as I've discovered in my super lite lager I just kegged but you can burp this sulphur out of solution purging your keg which I'll be doing.

Anyhow Brownyard I wouldn't use the yeast culture again lol but hey nothing wrong with drinking it if it tastes good to you
