Mine are all 3 gallons or else I wouldn’t brew as muchOnly the 3, Lack of space makes brewing more often difficult. Maybe i should consider smaller batches (2.5 gal)?

Thanks for sharing, Wayne. Is that Minute Rice or malted rice?I really don't know, I guess I could figure it out. I'm guessing somewhere around 20 batches @ 7 gallons each. That's 4.5 barrels! 9 kegs. Yikes!
Most were lagers for competitions. I brewed a my first Cold IPA and got a BOS in the Minnesota State Fair, so it was a good year for brewing.

My friends keep pestering me to make cider, what juice brand/source do you use? Btw i will be in your neck of the woods (Salem-Keizer) for 4 days after Christmas, cant wait! This was going to be a big brewing year for me, but things did not work out in my favor. And that is OK.
As of now, I have brewed 5 batches of beer and a couple batches of cider. There may be another batch of beer before the end of the year - last year I brewed on New Years Eve.
Minute Rice, of course. I bought generic and realized it was fortified with iron, so had to go back to my old standard. Thanks for sharing, Wayne. Is that Minute Rice or malted rice?
There are many sources for apples and their juice. I get most of mine from Detering Orchards. I also found some locally produced juice at Bi-Mart, a local all in one market. My friends keep pestering me to make cider, what juice brand/source do you use?
