This was going to be a big brewing year for me, but things did not work out in my favor. And that is OK.
As of now, I have brewed 5 batches of beer and a couple batches of cider. There may be another batch of beer before the end of the year - last year I brewed on New Years Eve.

I really don't know, I guess I could figure it out. I'm guessing somewhere around 20 batches @ 7 gallons each. That's 4.5 barrels! 9 kegs. Yikes!

Most were lagers for competitions. I brewed a my first Cold IPA and got a BOS in the Minnesota State Fair, so it was a good year for brewing.

Definitely going to bookmark this one for this year sometime. Maybe April so I can have it ready for beginning of summer.

Looks like I did 96 gallons in about 26 brews. I've probably got another brew or two to do before the new year (like that Cold IPA from HighVoltageMan...) so I'll be surpassing 100 gallons most likely.

There are many sources for apples and their juice. I get most of mine from Detering Orchards. I also found some locally produced juice at Bi-Mart, a local all in one market.
Enjoy your time up here, even if the sun doesn’t shine.

9 batches avg 9 litr each

2x palm/de konick drink alike
1x wheat
1x belgian beach brew
1x tripel
4x (Belgian) pale ale

+ 2 batches ginger beer (containing malted grains)
+ only one cider as price of apple juice has gone silly

This includes my strange maris otter brew that still needs to be kegged.

I may get another brew in. Solar is sorted, so temp control is possible again :)

I didn't do that many. Probably 4ish, but all 5 gallons. Given the circumstances, I was proud of myself for finding the time to do that. I was going to squeeze another one in November, but I was holding on to the Porter until Thanksgiving. It was very good. I might have time to brew again this month, but probably not enough time to drink it.

1st full year back in the hobby, I did 12 batches in 2024 (plus 2 in late 2023) that were a mix between 3 and 5 gallons. Started with mostly Brit style ales (where I learned that recipes matter), did a Steam beer, a Kolsch or two, moved on to some lagers and decided I really like making Belgian styles after making a ringer Duvel clone. My last beer of 24' will be the 4th quarter dark mild recipe that many of you have brewed.
