Do you harvest the yeast for re-use after that? I thought Chitosan kills yeast in order to stop fermentation. Maybe I'm wrong.

If I harvest the yeast, i do it before fining. I have a bottom dump valve on the fermenter
Just asked Gashslug on a live YouTube chat about that beer filtering video.
I asked him if he uses a new filter cartridge after every use or.
His answer was no I send sodium percarbonate through it you can push it both ways if you want. Then a fresh water rinse. Then sanitizer than if you want to be extra Anal pop it in the fridge until next use.
