Community Zoom Happy Hour 2024

Hard to believe you caught me in the shot! I was just in and out trying to figure how to get my phone to use the right lense. Had a great Polkatober party at my sons inlaws place.
 
It's very unlikely I'll be there
Solar batteries have taken a turn to the worse and are not hollding any power anymore.
Amazing how quick that goes. 3 weeks ago they were still fine.
Looking for new batteries, but it's proving not so easy as some inverter settings need to be changed as well and everyone is busy busy busy (as anyone with a cent to spare in going into solar)

Not an expert, but check if just one battery has gone bad, which will drag down the performance of all the batteries.

I know, but it is all of them.
I'll double check though
It's almost exactly at expected lifespan

sorry for you troubles I've found a couple of loose connections on my battery cables that caused the same issue, now I'm back to normal and even better as it gets cooler I’m getting more power out of my panels
 
My temperatures are not conductive to a long battery life
(That's all in centigrade)

I think that’s called planned obsolescence. Usually occurs with a hefty price tag.

Like Don said, especially if the batteries are connected in parallel, if one goes, it’ll drag the rest down with it.

Hopefully you get it fixed soon.
 
Bloody Bama game is at 2:45 CDT today so might be a bit late joining. Dunno why I watch, though. They have been anything but inspiring since the Georgia game.

Will do my best to make the call.

Them Dawgs have been surprising.
You can watch the game (with the sound off) and participate in the meeting simultaneously. With some effort.

In just a few minutes now...

I think we should have Tim's sound off. Otherwise, depending on how Bama is playing, he may teach us some new words :oops:!

Yup!
Probably went overkill on my liver last night, but I enjoyed it. I had way too many empty beer cans on the deck last night.
I did manage to get up this morning a prep my French Onion Chicken. Also had a surprise breakfast visit from somebody that is just like a daughter to me. It was very nice.
May have to take a nap later LOL.
