Community Zoom Happy Hour 2024

23 here.
Gotta make a big fire to stay warm

Sophie’s game is going to start an hour late. I’ll try to turn in on at 5…I’ll keep @Donoroto posted.

Are we on?
Looks like I can't connect?
"Waiting for host"

We're on and going! Come join us.

Meeting time again Saturday. I will be out of town and miss it. I changed the settings so it should not need me to start it. @Donoroto will text me if I need to start it.

I am on the road, but hope to remember at 5 pm. No guarantees though.

I get email notifications on this thread as well. Hopefully I got settings correct

Anyone going to be there?
I just gotta check on the solar batteries as we had some cloudy days, but I think it will be fine.
Maybe I'm just going to watch Denmark play Germany and then it should be meeing time

Unfortunately I have the annual family picnic today. I may pop in for a few minutes to say 'hi'.

I am expecting to join on un the fun and frivolity that will no doubt take place. Nothing going on except chilling at the trailer for the next week!

30 minutes to go, and whilst I cannot attend for very long, I will check in

Enjoyed my time with those who joined today.
Zambi and Alan asked, where is Turkey Point, and why is it called Turkey Point...

I had no idea, so I looked it upand found this:
Turkey Point dates all the way back to 1793. Some say the park was named after an early settler with a prominent Adam's Apple, but the more likely origin is from the parks wild turkey population.

As far as where it is... the north shore of Lake Erie, the smallest of the Great Lakes. It is just a 75 minute drive from our home in Cambridge

Was a good time! Thanks.

And for everyone wondering...
