Cleaning soda keg and fermentor

Most sumps are direct drive, magnetic drives lack the power of a direct drive. I really like the simplicity, but I couldn't get a direct drive to last much more than 18 months.
If you needed it for actually sumping, then it would probably be lacking. But for the flow rate needed for a keg washer. Mag-coupled works

Don did mention the process as he does it. Sunfire warned about it being taboo to some in the industry because of the keg materials, and she also mentioned it was a highly debated topic. Not bad remembering for a dude that had to clean a bunch of beer cans off his deck the next morning:)
Well, I didn't have to clean a bunch of beer cans off my deck this morning and yet your memory is still better than mine! :D

@Donoroto, were you the one who mentioned this in the meeting? If so, is this maybe-problem or a definite-problem?
Yes, but no. I mentioned that I keep starsan in every clean keg until I am ready to use it. Never thought about any possible effects on the stainless.

Only once, I forgot to drain the starsan from the keg before filling it. Hadda dump it.

I don't think phosphoric at that concentration will touch stainless.

I rinse and leave starsan in ball locks for months

Maybe use one of the Oxbo (sp) plastic kegs?
