Used rum instead of brandy.
Didnt have prunes and dates
Mixed it all together popped In a large bowl

Added grease proof paper to top then wrapped it in another layer grease proof and alfoil tied it up with twine

Yup I use that Power Watt Meter old brewing controller to just simmer that bowl in the water.So Ben, the heating is by boiling (simmering I guess) the bowl, right? Otherwise the recipe looks delish!

The bowl pretty much floats on the water but I use the string as a safety net.

That's come off the sides perfectly
I lined with butter then sprinkled flour on it seems to have worked a treat beauty!
