Changes to Forum - Why?????

I have noticed a couple of changes in the forum.
I wonder why as these are not improvements, but downgrades really.

Chrome on PC
The back to the top button is now "hiding", you have to scroll up or down a bit to make it "appear" again.

Chrome on Android phone
Same as above, plus, the page number selection option within a post/thread is no longer there.

I noticed the same. We had the hidden arrow problem after a major software release. It was fixed and now returned. I suspect that that particular code fix was never checked in properly and was reverted with the latest release.

Last week or so, there's a problem typing a message.
It's very slow for the letters to appear.

Really struggling as letters appear very slowly and delayed.

No, we haven't changed anything as far as I know, but I'll send this over to the developers for their review (and explanation I guess!).

Phone is reasonably new.
And it only happens on this forum.
Nowhere else
And only recently (at the same time as the others started complaining about forum update)

Jump to last and unwatch
I could see jump to first would be more handy

I just looked at the bottom of the page and it has jump to first there so I guess all's well. Except @Zambi problem. Try restarting the the phone. Hard reset in professional speak. Like unplugging

What if I just want to go the the previous page, or the next page...

Yeah but if you look at the bottom left there is a tab that says first. Click there and id brings you to the original post. I really don't know how it used to be done but at least you don't have to scroll back. You can always go back page by page or whatever number page you want.

I have no issue on my PC.

On my phone however, up until maybe a week ago there were the page numbers as well as next page and previous page options at the top where the blue circle is. They are not there now, I would like them back.

My iPhone sees the same thing as @Craigerrr

It used to be there.
