My wife is so fortunate to have ended her 23 year high school teaching career this past June. And I love the fact that she no longer wakes up at 4:30am every weekday.

I ate spam visiting my mom for Thanksgiving for the first time in probably 20 years, fried with a bit of cheese on toast it was surprisingly good. I'd eat it again.

I used to like it as a kid. There was a German version of canned meat, not exactly spam, that I loved while I lived there.

Interesting. I'm half tempted to pick up a case of it and do grilled cheeses with it as comfort food this winter.

Make some cross-hatch mark on it with a knife and roll in rub, then toss on the smoker. Enjoy.
