Bad beer combinations

Thanks for this. I'm planning on filling a growler from my kegerator this weekend. very timely
 
Nice and dark. It's fairly sweet for it being 1.012. It will only be about 4.5% abv which is fine by me. Great taste though. I hate that I can barely taste the hops. I'll use more next time. Maybe 2 additions next time.

How'd you hop her or is that a him that dark burly brew of yours:D. Probably with all that malt you'd need to up the Bittering.
 
Malty beers need a lot more hop to cut through the malt flavour.

Agreed but sounds like Davis wants to taste the hops. I've had some hop forward browns and made a black IPA which I loaded with hops and you could just make them out over the malt. Now I save my hoppy beers for my base IPA grain bill.
