I like rush

Rush is near and dear to my heart my friend. I still remember the day my brother came home from Sam the Record Man with that first Rush album! It was instantly iconic for me at age 14!
For me though Moving Pictures was their last great album, couldn't really tell you what came after that. I only saw them twice.

The company coming on Saturday is coming for lunch, so I am good to join the zoom after all

The next album- Signals has "Countdown" on it. Anything about the Columbia shuttle always gets me emotional because I still remember the streaks in the sky during high school on the day it blew up. Plus, "Subdivisions" is on it too.
The planetarium in Orlando used to do a killer laser light show for Rush. I got a shitload of tickets for it because I wrote an article about it for the school newspaper.
It was quite convenient that those laser shows were usually either Pink Floyd or Rush.. Two of my favorite bands.

Ah good. I heard there’s an election soon in Canada. That’s a topic good for a few minutes.

Oh, and Rush. One of the few truly iconic bands.

That’s 4 PM here in central time- I should make it at some point but I will be in the middle of cooking an unusual dish so may be either right on time, or very very late, depending on how it goes.
