2024 4th Quarter recipe

I'm slacking...
 
And I was a bad boy and made a Porter.
 
I like it very much! Has a nice bitter note from the hops, but not over powering. Doesn't finish sweet at all, pretty dry. Good malty flavor.

If I were to change anything. Maybe add some unmalted roasted barley in the 400 srm range to give more roasty flavor.

Well, I didn't brew hers, but we did brew a dark mild at the shop.
I'll have to get a picture of it up!

Where did you come out alcohol wise with that? 3s or 4s?
 
shit, i wish i had seen this thread before i made the amber that is on draft now. this would have fit in great. maybe i will brew a version soon.
 
My last brew of ‘24 may very well have been my best. Dropped beautifully clear, nice foam and lacing. A bit of chocolate in the nose, a bit of chocolate and caramel in the taste. Malty presence but finishes dry. Very crushable! My compliments, @Yooper !

Wow- it looks so great. You're making me very very thirsty here! But it's a workday........Oh, heck, I need a beer!!!!! :)
