Barth-Haas - Progress

Description: "Developed at Wye College and released for commercial growing in 1964. Somewhat similar to a Fuggle but slightly sweeter and usually providing a softer bitterness in beers of all types. An aroma profile and dual purpose alpha level, ideally suited to British Bitter, Pale Ales, Porter & Stout. May be an interesting kettle-hop for Czech-style Pilsners or Bock lagers."
