Notes

Followed BrewYourOwn recipe but substituted hallertau with tettnang
(https://byo.com/article/koelsch-style-profile/)

Measured OG - 1.050 FG - 1.001 ABV = 6.43%

Added full kettle of water to wash grain bag and add volume.

No yeast starter. Used new pack of Bluestone Cologne BSY-008 liquid yeast. No starter required. Fermented at 16 degrees. Had issue with fridge unplugged on day 4 where fermentation crept up to 19.5 but quickly bought back down to 16 so hopefully not a problem.

Delicious! A beautiful drop. Not overly sweet. Great chocolate and coffee flavours. Highly recommend giving a go.
