Notes
This is one juicy NEIPA. Used free Falcon and Falcon 7Cs. Falcon has more bite and 7Cs is the juice. Enjoy.
Add 4oz rice hulls to steeping grains to prevent caking of oats
Add IPA mineral pack to pot with 3 gal distilled water
Add grains keep below 155deg for 30min - 45min
Next add 3lb malt to wort for boil with 2oz Falcon hop addition (add 1 gal dist wtr)
Add Wyeast nutrient 10min left in boil
On knockout, add the remaining 8.8lb of malt, 2.5 gal dist wtr and 2oz Falcon (.2lb of malt loss to leftover film in 2 containers)
Once temp below 147deg add both 1oz Falcon & 1oz F7Cs hops
Fermenter 4th day drop 2oz F7Cs
Fermenter 10th day drop 2oz F7Cs
Keg on 12th day
Falcon hops: Simcoe, Sorachi Ace, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cluster, Columbus, and Crystal
Falcon 7 "C" hops: Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cluster, Columbus, and Crystal
