Notes
This batch is my "training wheels" beer for a friend who wants to get into brewing. Instead of my usual three vessel with overnight mash (brew bag filter in mash tun) this will be a single vessel BIAB. I have a bunch of 2017 Cascade pellets to use up, so that's what the majority of the hopping is. I'm out of CTZ, so chinook is the bittering substitute. The 0 minute addition is at FO and will get spun in the WP while the beer is run to the fermenter. I'm mashing at 156 to target more alpha amylase for body as this will be a lower ABV beer that still needs to support the hops without being thin.
