3 gal distilled water directly into the fermenter, balance is tap water into the boil kettle. |
Notes
Mix honey 1:1 with water, heat to 185° F for 20 mins. Cool and add to fermenter after primary fermentation is complete.
Note that because the honey is a late addition, the OG reading will be below the calculated value above, probably closer to 1.055.
