Triple Dec at 2qrtof water/1lb of grain
acid rest at 8:30am
1st decoction 1quart per 1lb of grist - heat to 150F rest for 15mins then boil 30mins
return decotion back to mash and rest it at 125F for 30 min
2nd decoction 1 quart per 1lb of grist - boil 30 mins
return decoction back to mash for saccharification rest for 1hour at 149F
3rd decoction 1 quart per 1lb of grist - boil for 20 mins
return to mash for mashout at 170F
Shoot for a temperature 65 F and fermentation should be finished within 3 to 6 days. The fermentation should leave a clean beer with little residual sweetness. After fermentation lager your beer for 4 to 8 weeks at around 40°F
