Notes

Aged 2 years in bourbon barrels. Original recipe calls for a 9-hour boil time. But the Brewer's Friend program kept marking it as an error. The beer pours a very dark color almost like an imperial stout. Some of the color comes from the two years left in a Bourbon Barrel but a good amount comes from the long boil for sure. Since the single grain used is Halcyon which has a 2 SRM almost no color comes from the grain.
