First homebrew sesh in a few years.
Oio brand 2-row
Mash in a 5-gallon Coleman insulated cooler with a bazooka filter.
Sparge with ~190 degree F water
Slightly sub-boiling water was added about 30 minutes in to mash to bring temp up to ~153 degrees for final push.
Had a stuck sparge due to fine grind and lack of rice hulls. Final boil volume of
Firstwort OG 15.8 brix (1.0646 SG) -> 45% ending kettle efficiency.
Final wort OG 12.2 brix (1.0492 SG) -> 78% brewhouse efficiency.
Cooled unfortunately in my bathtub by submersion of the kettle in cold water (lid on but cracked by the hop bag).
Post boil OG 13.2 brix (1.053 SG) ->
