Notes

Wednesday 12/6/19 Brew 14. Mash start at 0940 at 67C using 4kg Gladfield Ale, 300gms Gladfield Redback, 200gms Gladfield Aurora.
Finish Mash temp 64C/ Start Sparge at 1130. Finish Sparge at 1215 - Collect 20L and start heat, add another 10L - Boil start at 1230. Wort chiller in at 1320. Flame out at 1405. Start chill at 1405. 33C at 1500. Stop chill at 1520 and start to rack to fermenter at 1528. Collect 24L. O.G. 1046-48 at 22C.
Yeast starter from Brew12 ( US05 ) which had been kept in cold fridge then washed and left to settle pour off water at top and add to bowl with Brew14 wort at 2050. Warm a little in drier for 40mins. Pitch and stir vigorously at 2135. Go well Brew14.
Bubbling away happily next morning 0745 - Yay.
Wednesday 19/6 1900 turn temp down to 8C, still very slow bubbling. Tasting good for a few days now...fingers crossed for a great brew.
Bottle Saturday 28/6. Gravity 1011. Collect 25x750ml and 9x500ml bottles. Total 23.25L.
