Notes
The use of whole cone hops vs pellets after the boil is key to this recipe. The IBUs are definately high for a hazy, but the whole cone really mellows the bitterness
Split the whole cone whirlpool addition in half did the first at 192 deg for 15 min, let it drop to 180 added the rest, put the lid on held above 170 for 30 min. Total of 45 min then started chilling with copper coil. Next time I will bag the whole hops so in the end I can squeeze out their precious hop juice!!
Made a hop tea while bottling w/ 1 oz Ekuanot Cryo Hops and 0.5 oz Mosaic Cryo Hops. Held at 180 for 15 min then cooled for 5.
Tastes delicious, the ekuanot really gives a nice fruity bitter bite
