One and a Half sheets is a play on the term "Three Sheets to the Wind." The name was born amongst friends and Brewers at Devil's Backbone, a joke referring to the relaxed joy of enjoying a few good beers with a few good people.

Not all of us brew to get drunk, or indeed, enjoy getting three sheets to the wind... Maybe just one and a half sheets!
