Did you get good mushroom flavor from just the 1 oz?

Yes, there was a pleasant chanterelle flavor. I rehydrated the dried mushrooms in a mason jar filled with unflavored vodka for 3 days. I then added the entire contents of the mason jar (rehydrated chanterelle mushrooms and the mushroom tincture) to the fermenter and let it "dry hop" for 9 days.
