Notes
Wanted to use Imperial A07 yeast but it was not available
Took first runnings of mash, poured them over the grains again, drained through spigot of bottling bucket into large pot and put on heat (slightly more than 4 gal with 4 gal of mash and maybe 1.5 gal of sparge).
Sparged with another 1.5 gal and brought gravity from 1.043 to 1.037 @ 5.75 gal
OG was 1.050. Unsure of why efficiency was so low, only change in process was pouring first runnings through mash again.
Next beer use a slightly lower efficiency target and add all water to grains with no sparge. Likely will result in lower efficiency but will be more consistent brew to brew.
