Mashed low. Finish temp 143
Beer is dry, little sweetness or malty characteristics. I should have mashed higher.

Pretty solid base recipe, would still mash higher
Over carbonated this one at 3x30, watch closely next time

Split batch to make a Winter Warmer (excellent winter warmer)
5 gallons
6 oz Honey
4 oz Molasses
2 oz Fresh cut ginger
1 oz Nutmeg grated
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Large Orange zested

  • Add to secondary for ~4 days
  • On transfer be careful not to pull in Molasses and Honey on bottom
  • NEEDS clarifying agent in keg
