Mashed low. Finish temp 143
Beer is dry, little sweetness or malty characteristics. I should have mashed higher.
OG 1.074
FG 1.013
ABV 8.01%
Pretty solid base recipe, would still mash higher
Over carbonated this one at 3x30, watch closely next time

Split batch to make a Winter Warmer (excellent winter warmer)
5 gallons
6 oz Honey
4 oz Molasses
2 oz Fresh cut ginger
1 oz Nutmeg grated
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Large Orange zested
- Add to secondary for ~4 days
- On transfer be careful not to pull in Molasses and Honey on bottom
- NEEDS clarifying agent in keg
