Notes
Heat 2.5 gallons of water.
Pour crushed grain into the supplied mesh bag. Steep for 20 minutes or until water reach-
es 170°F. Remove bag.
Bring to a boil, remove the kettle from the burner and stir in the
6 lbs Pilsen malt syrup.
Return wort to boil.
. NOTE: Total boil time for
this recipe is 60 minutes.
•Add 0.5 oz Horizon hops at the beginning of
the boil. The remainder will not be used.
·Add 1 oz Lemondrop hops, 1 lb Wheat DME and 1 lb Corn
sugar with 10 minutes remaining in the boil.
•Add the remaining 1 oz Lemondrop hops with 0 minutes
remaining in the boil.
The
optimum fermentation temperature for this beer is 69 - 75° F.
