Notes
Original batch plan was 24L and boil size 29.5. After mashing, however, I had only 28L of wort. So I've added 1.5L of sparging water.
After the boil the batch size was 26.5L which was surprisingly high. Seems there was pretty small evaporation during boil - only 2.5L...
Therefore the FG showed 1.057 which was 0.006 less than planned gravity. It's less by 0.006 but I will have 2.5L more of beer to drink :)
Brewing date: 8.9.2018 10:00
Fermentation start: 8.9.2018 18:000
6h yeast activation. Pitch temperature 23C. Fermentation temperature: 20C
SG: 1.053 - 29.5L
OG: 1057 - 26L
FG: 1009
Notes:
Brewed wort tasted pretty bitter but I've read it's common for these IPA type beers so let's see how it turned out.
