I've made a variation on this recipe, using wheat LME, Saaz hops, continental lager yeast, and brown sugar. These are what I had, and I liked the high bill for cane sugar, because in these times, malt extract isn't that easy to come by, so a little goes a long way with this recipe.
So far it's looking, smelling, and tasting great. I just racked today.
I'm truly astounded how good it tasted at racking, considering all I've read about brewing with cane sugar.
I hope to give a better description of the taste when carbonation is done.

I made 2 small batches of this, my third will probably just use a little more hops because of my personal preference.

Ok, so to update previous comment - I used the exact amount of sugar and LME in second batch, and it's too sour. Make LME 80% min.
