Notes
had planned to get 8 gallons fermenting from this grain charge. But after 60 min boil, a hot hydrometer reading showed just 1.030 - not enough with 8 gallons in the tank. Boiled off another gallon. Had been targeting 1.055 or so. Ended up with 1.064 after it cooled.
most of the hops came out of the spider. Coarse spider and Chilliwack hop farm hops seem finer than others.
