Notes
recipe calls for 6.5 lb DME and .75 lbs dextrose to get OG of 1.072, go down to FG of 1.011 for 8.2%abv. Called for 8 gallon bol to get 6 gallons in fermenter to get 5 gallons after hop loss bottled.
Steep grains at 165F for 30 mins in 1 gallon water, remove and rinse with hot water. Bring up to full boil volume and stir in dextrose then bring to boil.
Pitch 2 packs of yeast. Ferment at 67F, once activity slows, add first round of dry hops then after 7-9 more days, do second round. leave 5 more days then bottle.
