Variation on Cock-eyed Cassowary, hoping to maintain 'Shipyard' APA character but with fewer bittering hops (35g Galena, 60 mins).

Description of malted rye limited by selection. As far as we know, it's British not NZ malted rye!

Malt 91% Maris Otter pale , 9% pale malted rye.

75 minutes @ 65C; boil 60 minutes, Fuggles late addition (15 minutes), East Kent Goldings whirlpool for 30 minutes at 78C.

Lallemand Danstar Nottingham Ale Yeast (http://www.lallemandbrewing.com/product-details/nottingham-high-performance-ale-yeast/) 5.5 10^10 cells in 23 litres.

Measured OG 1.045; measured FG 1.006. Implies 5.25% ABV.

Kegged with 6 teaspoons of sucrose in 250ml boiled water on 29/05/2018.
