Notes

Approx. Final Volume: 2.5 gallons (post fermentation)

PARTIAL BOIL: Add 1/2 gallon (or so as required for fermenter) of cold distilled/mineral water at the end of boil after whirlpool hops are removed. Alternatively, do a full boil with 3.25 gallons.

HOP INFUSION: Bring 8-32 oz of water to a boil (as needed to balance FG). Add 1 oz of Hops and maintain heat at slightly below boiling (about 203 F). Cover the pot with a lid for about 5 min. Filter the Hop-tea with the finest filter possible. Gently mix it in beer prior to bottling/kegging.

HOPPY VARIATION: Whirlpool addition of 1 oz of Hops at 170 F for 30 min. IBU Util: 3%
