I'm curious about the 45% rice adjunct addition. Is that the most you've ever used? Do you like that amount?
I usually do 20-25% but haven't had the courage to bump it up. Cheers!

ghohn: I'm glad I dropped in to my account so I can reply! I've done experimental brews with a variety of grains, but this is the most I've done with rice. Not quite as tough as mashing a similar proportion of wheat. If you look at my "Asian Pils" recipe, that's 20% rice and based on a couple of bottled beers I tried in Vietnam and Laos.
